# Reloading Gift Cards/Certificates

Add a new amount to an existing gift card's balance in the SimpleSpa POS.

This page explains how to add a new amount to an existing gift card.

A gift card doesn't have to end once it has been used. With our integrated gift card system, you can enter or scan an existing gift card and add a new amount to its balance. This way, your gift cards can also work as a form of loyalty for your clients.

### Add a gift card to the sale

In the SimpleSpa POS, add a new gift card to a sale.

### Enter the existing card and amount

Enter the existing gift card number and the amount you want to add.

### Update and complete the sale

Press **Update** and complete the sale. The gift card now shows a new balance that includes the added amount.
