# Sending Gift Cards/Certificates

Print or email a gift card or gift certificate to your client after the sale.

This page explains how to print or email a gift card or gift certificate after you sell it.

After you sell a gift card or certificate, you can print it or email its unique number to your client.

1. Press the **Email** or **Print** button. A popup opens.
2. Enter the **FROM** and **TO** information.
3. Optionally, hide the value and hide the date of issue.
4. Send or print the gift certificate.

If you are emailing the certificate, make sure the recipient's email address is valid. After you send it, your client receives the redeemable card/certificate as a PDF attachment.

Both printed and emailed gift cards/certificates include a scannable barcode that matches the unique Gift ID that SimpleSpa generated automatically.
